Serenity Health and Management Services, LLC was established March 11, 2016 by Virginia Torsch, a retired Navy Medical Service Corps Captain (O-6) with 29 years of combined active duty/reserve services.
She has extensive experience in the establishment of military psychological health outreach and support programs and other medical programs. She is a Subject matter expert in psychological health programs and contracting who established the Navy Reserve Psychological Health Outreach Program to provide critical psychological health assessment, referral and outreach services to facilitate returning reservists’ transition to civilian life; negotiated a two-year contract for an event planner to provide the planning and execution of 40 Returning Warrior Workshops, a component of Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Programs(YRRP); and negotiated an additional contract to expand the Psychological Health Outreach Program to support USMC Reservists.
CAPT Torsch is capitalizing on her three years of post-military service defense contracting where she wrote winning proposals for over $34 million in contracts and managed all aspects of those contracts providing health care and family support services to Wounded Warriors and their Families, as well as financial and program management support services to other Federal Agencies. CAPT Torsch brings her extensive military and federal contracting experience to her new company, Serenity Health and Management Services, LLC and looks forward to continuing to provide these critically important support services to the Nation’s Military Service Members and their Families and to all other Federal Agencies.
